Running a tournament

Americano — padel guide

You want people to meet different partners. A good first tournament or social evening.

PAHANDUS editorial team28-09-2026

Who can play?

At least 4 players. Available disciplines: doubles. Setup checks additional roster and court constraints before starting.

How it works

  • Enter individual names; partners are not fixed.
  • PAHANDUS schedules blocks in advance. Results do not reshuffle later partners by strength.
  • Points belong to each player. Finish with the individual standings.

A practical example

Eight people and two courts: everyone plays together and partners rotate next block. Three blocks do not mean everyone has partnered all seven other players.

Scoring and time

The match score and tournament points are different. Check the selected scoring profile and ranking rules before starting. Where match points are used, 3/2/1 means win/draw/loss; 2/1/0 works the same way with different values. Knockout qualification still requires a winner.

Before you start

More players than court spots means rests. Check games and rests before starting; an arbitrary block count does not guarantee a full cycle.

Confirm the venue, actual courts, names, score rules and schedule. Share the player link or QR; keep organiser access private.
