Tournament formats
Padel and tennis formats are listed separately. Choose how to play, then set up participants, courts and standings.
What kind of event are you planning?
- I want rotating partners
- Try Americano, Mexicano or Beat the Box in padel. Choose social padel or social tennis for a court ladder.
- We arrive with our partners
- Choose fixed pairs in padel or a doubles round robin in tennis. Keep your partner and change opponents.
- Everyone should get several games
- Round robin for a smaller field, groups for a larger one. Compass splits winners and losers into branches; Swiss pairs by score.
- We need a winner quickly
- Knockout. Remember that one loss may end a player’s evening. Timed matches help fit a booking only in formats that support them.
