Community padel — padel guide
Choose a social ladder with seeded players, A/B bands and movement between courts.
Who can play?
At least 4 players. Available disciplines: doubles. Setup checks additional roster and court constraints before starting.
How it works
- Order names by strength; the roster halves define A and B bands. Check the opening pairs.
- Partners split after each game. Winners move toward the stronger court, losers toward the weaker one. At either end you stay at that end.
- For a draw, select the last-game winner for movement. Standings keep the draw, not an invented win.
A practical example
Kiili padel uses the strength ladder 1 → 4 → 3 → 2. This is a Kiili community-padel exception, not the order for every venue.
Scoring and time
The match score and tournament points are different. Check the selected scoring profile and ranking rules before starting. Where match points are used, 3/2/1 means win/draw/loss; 2/1/0 works the same way with different values. Knockout qualification still requires a winner.
Before you start
Court number and ladder rank are different things. When running several events, use a separate tab for each and check its name before confirming scores.
