Padel

What to bring to your first padel session

You do not need professional equipment for your first padel event. Comfortable movement, water and knowing where to get a racket and balls are what matter.

Player checklist

Pack light, but pack the right things.

  • comfortable sportswear and clean indoor court shoes
  • water and a light snack for a longer event
  • a padel racket or a rental arranged in advance
  • a small towel and a dry top if needed

Arrive before round one

Ten to fifteen minutes allows time to change, check the racket and warm up. One late player affects three other people and the entire court schedule.

The organiser makes the start easy

Send one short message before the event: location, arrival time, equipment, format and how results will be entered. First-timers do not need a long rulebook.
